Noel Fielding joins the bill for Teenage Cancer Trust comedy night

Mathew Horne and James Corden host the evening

'The Mighty Boosh''s Noel Fielding has joined the bill for this year's Teenage Cancer Trust gigs at London's Royal Albert Hall.

The gig takes place on March 29. Fielding will perform alongside 'Gavin and Stacey' stars Mathew Horne and James Corden, as well as fellow comedians Sean Lock and Nick Mohammed.

It is the fifth time Fielding has performed for Teenage Cancer Trust. In a statement, the star outlined why the charity is so important to him.

"I am pretty over excited about playing for (the) Teenage Cancer Trust again. It's always a brilliant night and I'm bowled over by Teenage Cancer Trust's work with young people," Fielding said.

"Being a teenager can be pretty messed up as it is, imagine having cancer at the same time. But Teenage Cancer Trust units not only allow teenagers to be teenagers; they provide them with the best possible care and support so they can fight the disease. I think they are awesome."

Other performers at the Teenage Cancer Trust 2009 gigs include Kasabian, Antony And The Johnsons, Florence And The Machine and Stereophonics.

Surely with those two hosting you'll be able to report the albert hall under the trades descriptions act for calling it a 'comedy' night?
