The Mighty Boosh to hit US shores

Comedy troupe to release DVD and make live appearances

The Mighty Boosh have announced that they will release the first season of their hugely popular BBC series on DVD in the US this summer.

The British comedy troupe, which won the award for Best TV Show at the Shockwaves NME Awards earlier this year, are set to visit the US from July 21-29 to celebrate the US release of the DVD on July 21.

Creators Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding are set to make an appearance at Comic Con in San Diego, where they'll participate in panel discussions and sign DVD copies.

The two-disc set features the complete eight-episode first season, plus extensive bonus material including 'Inside the Zooniverse,' 'History of the Boosh,' outtakes, commentary and a picture gallery.

Believe it or not, The Mighty Boosh is a television programme and not music.

Wow vintagerave you really are a tool. Just because someone expands their careers makes them a sell out? If actors and musicians never release any of there works to other countries, or even allow any of there work to be viewed by another country, the world would be a very dull place indeed. Anyway, I'm glad the the Boosh is coming to the states. I've been familiar with The Mighty Boosh for three years now, and unlike what vintagerave thinks, they are still not that well know (in my opinion) to the majority of americans. Many of my friends and relatives have no idea what it even is. And just because it is on Adult swim now doesn't mean everyone will see it either, because the show is on at 1 in the morning on sundays, and most people work mondays so who wants to stay up late anyway? Of course there is tivo...but still. I wish I could go to Comic Con to see them, but I live in NY and have no way to make it.
