The National are apparently set to curate this December's ATP Festival in Minehead, Somerset.

According to a leaked press release about the band Lower Dens, The National will be helming the yearly December edition of ATP, which goes under the name Nightmare Before Christmas.

An excerpt from the Lower Dens release has been posted online at Drowned In Sound. It reads: "The band fronted by Jana Hunter have already been confirmed for ATP in Minehead, curated by The National, in December, but they'll also be around in May playing shows at Primavera (both at Porto and Barcelona) amongst others...".

No curator has been officially announced for the December event yet, but ATP's next three day event will be the Jeff Mangum curated ATP festival at Butlin's, Minehead on March 9-11, which was postponed from last year.

The festival will see sets from The Magnetic Fields, Joanna Newsom, Thurston Moore, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, The Fall, Low, Young Marble Giants and more. For a full line-up, see ATPfestival.com.
