Big hits for The Ordinary Boys and Dead Or Alive

Rapper Notorious BIG is Number One in a week that’s seen Celebrity Big Brother have an impact on the UK singles chart.

The late rapper’s single 'Nasty Girl' remains at the top for a second consecutive week, but there’s Top Ten showings from The Ordinary Boys with ’Boys Will Be Boys’, which jumps from nine to Number Three, and Dead Or Alive's re-release of ’You Spin Me Round’ is a new entry at Number Five.

Both band’s singers, The Ordinary BoysPreston and Dead Or Alive’s Pete Burns were contestants on the recent reality TV show Celebrity Big Brother.

Burns in particular said he wasn't happy with the single being re-released off the back of his renewed TV fame.

This week’s Top Ten singles are:
1. Notorious BIG - ‘Nasty Girl’
2. Chris Brown - ‘Run It!’
3. The Ordinary Boys - ‘Boys Will Be Boys'
4. Beyonce - 'Check On It'
5. Dead Or Alive - ‘You Spin Me Round’
6. Hi-Tack - 'Say Say Say (Waiting 4 U)'
7. Shayne Ward - 'That's My Girl'
8. Arctic Monkeys - ‘When The Sun Goes Down’
9. Will Young - 'All Time Love'
10. Nizolpi - 'JCB Song'

In the UK albums chart the domination of Arctic Monkeys continues, with their debut album ’Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not remaining at Number One.
