Leeds lads are set to release their second within a year of their debut

The Pigeon Detectives have revealed that their new album will be titled 'Emergency'.

The record, out May 26, is released within a year of the release of their debut, 'Wait For Me', which was out on May 28 last year.

The album is preceded by a single, 'This Is An Emergency', out on May 12.

Speaking to NME.COM, singer Matt Bowman said: "'This Is An Emergency' could describe the last 12 months. It's been fairly frantic, everything's been going at breakneck speed between gigs and touring and festivals."
