The Fratellis, Futureheads and The Ting Tings also set to play

The Pigeon Detectives, CSS and The Zutons are among acts confirmed to play on a slew of new mini-tours of the UK organised by .

Each band will play three consecutive gigs in the UK on the MTV Spanking New Music tour, set to take place in April and May.

The tour is being billed as an opportunity for headlining acts to showcase new, as-yet unreleased music live. The full line-ups for the tours are:

The Fratellis, The Ting Tings and Alphabeat play:
Cambridge Junction (April 27)
Islington Academy (28)
Liverpool Academy (29)


The Zutons, One Night Only and The Script play:
Cardiff Great Hall (May 4)
Glasgow ABC (5)
Dublin Academy (6)


The Pigeon Detectives, The Metros and The Rascals play:
Cambridge Junction (April 28)
Islington Academy (29)
Liverpool Academy (30)


CSS, The Futureheads and MGMT play:
Cardiff Great Hall (May 5)
Glasgow ABC (6)
Dublin Academy (7)


Tickets for the shows will be available from March. Details of how to get them can be found on MTV’s website.
