Ex-Pipettes singer set for debut single and gig
Rose Elinor Dougall is playing in the capital too
Ex-Pipettes singer Rose Elinor Dougall has announced plans to release her first solo single.
Her debut 'Another Version Of Pop Song' will be released as a download and limited edition 7" on December 8 through Scarlett Records.
"After being in The Pipettes, which was very much based around the idea of writing 'pop' songs, I was thinking about how those processes and ideas related to my own personal songwriting now, being outside of that structure, and this is something that came out of that time," she explained.
"I suppose it is about the first couple of weeks that you meet someone you are interested in being around, not believing in forever but enjoying the experience all the same."
The singer will also play a gig tomorrow night (November 27) at the Old Blue Last pub in London.
The show also features Titus Andronicus and Fan Death.
