SHANE MacGOWAN HOSPITALISED AFTER PUB ATTACK

Ex-Pogues vocalist SHANE MacGOWAN has suffered injuries after being attacked by two men in LONDON.
The attack happened in the Joiner's Arms in Belgravia at around 6.30pm on Monday (19), where MacGowan was punched, kicked and hit with a metal bar. He suffered a fractured cheekbone, and was taken to nearby St. Thomas' Hospital.
The attackers were arrested and then released on bail. Police do not believe there was any motive for the attack, reports Reuters.
