Shane MacGowan has introduced the world premiere of their all-star Haiti tribute single 'I Put A Spell On You' at the Shockwaves NME Awards tonight (February 24).

The singer took to the stage to introduce the video for the song, which is a cover of Screamin' Jay Hawkins' 1956 classic. The song, which is released online by IRL Records on March 1, also features Nick Cave, Primal Scream's Bobby Gillespie and former Clash guitarist Mick Jones.

As the video of 'I Put A Spell On You' was being played to the audience at London's O2 Academy Brixton, bands and fans were encouraged to donate for Haiti. The release is raising money for the Concern charity.
