Report confirms Police reunion

The Police have scheduled rehearsals in Vancouver for a reunion tour, according to a report on the city's classic rock radio station, CFMI.

Sting, Andy Summers and Stewart Copeland will convene at Lions Gate Studios in the Canadian city to prepare for their first tour in more than 20 years.

Rumours abound that the trio will perform at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on February 11, but they have yet to be confirmed.

Billboard has also reported that The Police will announce tour dates next month.

Frontman Sting is currently touring in support of his lute album, 'Songs From the Labyrinth'. He will release a new CD/DVD package 'The Journey And The Labyrinth: The Music Of John Dowland' on February 20 via Deutsche Grammophon.
