The Police announce extra shows

The Police have announced a series of extra UK dates after selling out the initial shows the day the tickets went on sale (March 9).

As [url=http://www.nme.com/news/the-police/26968 ]previously reported[/url] more than 120,000 tickets were snapped up the morning they were made available.

The band have confirmed additional dates at the Birmingham NIA on September 5, Twickenham Stadium on September 9 and the Manchester Evening News Arena on October 16.

The full list of UK dates is now:

Birmingham National Indoor Arena (September 4, 5)
London Twickenham Stadium (8, 9)
Manchester MEN Arena (October 15, 16)
Cardiff Millennium Stadium (19)
