Hotly tipped US band THE POLYPHONIC SPREE have announced a UK tour for October.

The 23-piece white-robed outfit, who played the recent Reading/Leeds Carling Weekend and a one-off London show at the Union Chapel last night (August 27), will play eight shows in support of their debut album 'The Beginning Stages Of…', released on in the UK on September 23 through 679 Recordings.

A single taken from the album, 'Hanging Around', will be released on October 14.
