The Pretenders' singer Chrissie Hynde is set to launch a vegetarian restaurant in Akron in Ohio.
Hynde will sing at a free concert on September 15 to mark the opening of the eaterie which will be called VegeTerranean..
VegeTerranean will feature Mediterranean and vegetarian cuisine, reports Yahoo.
The Pretenders are set to play the following dates supporting Rod Stewart:
Cardiff Millenniun Stadium (July 7)
Liverpool Aintree Pavillion (9)
Coventry Ricoh Stadium (10)
