PRODIGY IN THE UK

The band reveal that they will be hitting the road in December...

have revealed that they plan to tour the UK later this year.

The dates will follow the release of the band's forthcoming album, 'Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned' which is due out on August 23. The single 'Girlz' is pencilled in for an August 30 release.

Singer Keith Flint said: "We start in October then we've got a UK tour in December which is starting to get pencilled in."

He added: "We've got two shows at (London's) Brixton and we're gonna cover Liverpool, Manchester and a few other shows, and Newcastle in between. We're still tight and we're still rocking on and looking forward to doing shows again."

Speaking to Xfm, Flint also spoke about the change of direction with the record, saying: "The album's more of an instrumental thing. We've gone back to the roots," he continued. "And now me and Maxim are working on putting vocals on top of that to take it live."

"The thing with us, we're just gonna come back, re-demand our territory which is the live zone, and we're gonna come in and rock it," he stated.

As previously reported, 'Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned' features collaborations with Liam and Noel Gallagher, who appear on 'Shootdown', actress Juliette Lewis, who provides vocals on 'Hotride', Kool Keith<, Princess Superstar, and Twista.
