The Prodigy and Trivium line-up for rock festival

The Prodigy, Trivium and Bullet For My Valentine are the first bands to be confirmed for Download 2006.

The rock festival returns for its’ fourth year at Donington Park over the weekend of June 9-11. Last year’s event saw over 80,000 people watching more than 100 acts during the whole weekend over four stages.

As well as the music, the entertainment onsite will include cinemas, internet cafes, markets, performance art and skateboarding.

The other bands set to play the event are expected to be announced soon.

Tickets will go on sale on Friday (3 February) at 9am.
