Prodigy set Leeds Festival 'on fire'

Fans light flare during Keith Flint and co's set

The Prodigy's opening song at Leeds Festival tonight (August 28), 'World's On Fire', proved prophetic, as it inspired fans in the crowd to light a flare.

The firestarters sparked up the flame before 'Warrior's Dance', which inspired riotous scenes at the Main Stage.

The Essex band got the masses raving with a typically energetic set, including fan favourites such as 'Breathe' and 'Voodoo People'.

'Firestarter' saw singer Keith Flint charge around the stage, while his co-frontman Maxim regularly fired the crowd up with rallying cries of, "Where the fuck are you Leeds Festival?".

"If you ain't fucking here, where the fuck are you? You're fucking nowhere," he told the crowd before 'Invaders Must Die', perhaps alluding to those who had chosen to go and see Glasvegas on the Radio 1/NME Stage instead.

The stage was lit up by a dazzling strobe show throughout the set, which culminated in a climactic 'Out Of Space'.

The Prodigy played:

'World's On Fire'
'Breathe'
'Omen'
'Warrior's Dance'
'Firestarter'
'Run With The Wolves'
'Voodoo People'
'Invaders Must Die'
'Smack My Bitch Up'
'Take Me To The Hospital'
'Out Of Space'
