The Prodigy have unveiled a remix of 'Smack My Bitch Up' by Major Lazer – listen by scrolling down and clicking the video.

The remix of the controversial track will feature on a 12-inch and digital EP named 'The Added Fat EP'. It forms part of the deluxe reissue of The Prodigy's best-regarded album 'The Fat Of The Land', which celebrates its 15th anniversary later this year.

The album, which sold over 10million copies after its release in 1997, will be reissued on December 3 and will also include remixes from Noisia, The Glitch Mob and Baauer.

The Prodigy will play two shows at London's Brixton Academy on December 18 and 19, billed as an "end of the world extravaganza" in line with the ancient Mayan prophecy that claims the world will end on December 21, 2012.

A message from the band reads:

Yo my peoples... fired up to be bringing Warrior's Dance back to the UK for its London debut at Brixton. We're gonna finish 2012 in style with a mega line up of beats, bass n noise. We are coming home! Respect. Keef, Liam & Maxim

The band are currently working on their sixth album, which has been given the working title 'How To Steal A Jet Fighter'
