Raconteurs name change drama

There's already a band with the same name

The Raconteurs have been forced to change their name in Australia.

Jack White’s new band will be known as The Saboteurs down under to avoid conflict with a jazz band of the same name.

A statement to the Australian press reads: “The Raconteurs name was already taken by a jazz band, to make things easier, and in the spirit of espionage and subversion, we have decided to become The Saboteurs in Australia only."

The band’s debut album, ‘Broken Boy Soldiers’, is out on May 15.
