The Raconteurs are set to release a live album from each night of their up coming UK tour.
A double CD will be recorded during each show and will be available for fans to buy as they leave the venue.
The "official bootlegs", which will be limited to 1000 copies, will feature exclusive artwork along with a special version of the band's forthcoming single ’Broken Boy Soilders’ recorded for US radio station KCRW. For more information go to Concertlive.co.uk.
The UK dates are:
Glasgow Academy (October 14)
Manchester Apollo (15)
Newcastle Academy (18)
London Brixton Academy (19,20)
Bristol Colston Hall (22)
Nottingham Rock City (23)
Wolverhampton Civic Hall (24)
Liverpool University (25)
As previously reported, the "official bootlegs" follows a similar move by Keane who are releasing a record from each show on their UK tour, and it is expected more bands will make use of the technology on future treks.
