The Verve to headline this year's Coachella Festival

Raconteurs, Rilo Kiley will also play the California event

The Verve are set to headline this year's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, sources confirmed today (January 21).

The Raconteurs, Rilo Kiley and My Morning Jacket have also been confirmed to play this year's festival, which will take place April 25-27 at the Empire Polo Field in Indio, California.

At a press conference today in Mexico City, promoters are expected to announce details of the inaugural east coast Coachella, which will likely take place in New Jersey in August.

Well done for getting the headline slot. The Verve should headline Glastonbury too, not Jay-Z or Kanye West(WHY??). A legendary band should headline Britain's most legendary festival.
