THE BOXER REBELLION have had to pull out of their support slot with The Raveonettes after singer NATHAN NICHOLSON underwent emergency surgery on Monday (October 20).

Nicholson was rushed to hospital after complaining of severe stomach pains. The singer then had five hours of surgery, removing a burst cyst and his appendix. He is now making a full recovery

The band, who released their debut single 'Watermelon' earlier this month, have cancelled six of the remaining dates, but have not yet ruled out the following:

Brighton Concorde 2 (supporting The Raveonettes) (November 3)
