The Research plan special gigs to launch album

The Research have announced a series of unique gigs to mark the release of their debut album.

The New Yorkshire trio release ‘Breaking Up’ on February 27, and will play some specials shows featuring DJs and bands chosen by the band in Leeds and London.

The likes of Maximo Park, The Go! Team and British Sea Power will be spinning records for The Research on the jaunt.

"This is going to be the best week for us,” declared frontman Russell (The Disaster). “During our time touring, our favourite bands have become our favourite friends and they are all coming to help us party for our first long-playing record."
