Keith Richards is fully recovered

guitarist Keith Richards has said he has completely recovered from the head injury he sustained when he fell from a tree while on holiday in Fiji.

During a press conference in Milan for the launch of the European leg of the band's 'A Bigger Bang' tour, which had to be postponed because of the star's injury, he said he was fit and ready to play again.

“I feel totally normal whatever that means. I feel great,” Richards said.

“It was, like, Ouch!- I banged my head. I went to the garage and came out the other side, although I realise now that it was a little more serious than that.”

As previously reported by NME.COM,Richards underwent brain surgery in May following his fall.

The guitarist added that, contrary to reports, the tree that he fell out of was significantly smaller than a coconut tree.

“If you saw the tree, you’d realise the joke,” he said.
