The Rolling Stones have been forced to cancel a second show in Spain tomorrow (August 16) because Mick Jagger is again suffering with laryngitis.

The band, who axed their show in Valladolid last night (August 14), will now not be playing El Ejido in Almeria on Wednesday.

The singer issued a statement, explaining: "I am very sorry to be cancelling this show as well. But unfortunately I have no other choice and I apologise to everyone who bought tickets for El Ejido."

The news comes even after it was reported by Reuters that Jagger, who has previously experienced voice difficulties, was taking voice coaching lessons to prevent additional cancellations.

As with Valladolid, the show will not be rescheduled and fans with tickets are advised to obtain refunds at their place of purchase.

The band’s UK tour, kicking off at Twickenham Stadium in London on August 20, is believed to be unaffected at this time.
