Rolling Stone to join Johnny Depp in third film

guitarist Keith Richards has signed on for the forthcoming movie ’Pirates Of The Caribbean: At The World’s End'.

Film producer Jerry Bruckheimer announced the details yesterday (January 9) at a press conference in Las Vegas.

Rumours have circulated that the star would join the pirate films, after Johnny Depp admitted that he had partly based his character of Jack Sparrow on Richards.

Details on Richards' character in the film have yet to be announced, reports Variety, though it has been suggested he will play the father of Depp's character.
