Mick Jagger and Martin Scorsese join forces

The Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger has teamed up with legendary director Martin Scorsese for a collaboration.

The movie, entitled ’The Long Play’, will span three decades and focus on the music business.

Scorsese will work with Jagger, as well his business partner Victoria Pearman, who will serve as producers for the film.

The screenplay will be written by William Monahan who won an Oscar for writing ’The Departed’. The mmovie won Scorsese his first ever Best Director Oscar earlier this week (February 25).

Scorsese and Jagger last collaborated on a documentary about The Rolling Stones which is set to be released later this year, reports Reuters.
