Keith Richards comments to NME that he has snorted his dad’s ashes has alarmed Disney, the company behind the forthcoming’Pirates Of The Caribbean’ film.

As previously reported The Rolling Stones guitarist story became an international talking point.

Now the marketing team behind ’Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World’s End’ - the film in which Richards plays Johnny Depp’s father - are worried about the effects of Richards' comments on the film.

Dennis Rice, a senior vice president at Disney, said: “When (a senior Disney publicist) forwarded the (Richards) story to me…I thought ‘How are we going to spin this?'”

He added: “Keith won’t be doing a lot of publicity for this movie.”

A release date for the movie has not been announced, reports LA Times. It is, however, strongly tipped to come out in the summer.
