The Rolling Stones add Poland date

It's their first show there in nine years

The Rolling Stones have announced that they will play their first concert in Poland in nearly a decade this summer.

The legendary rockers are set to play at Warsaw's Sluzewiec Hippodrome on July 25, a day before frontman Mick Jagger's 64th birthday.

Tickets for the event will go on sale this Saturday (May 19).

The Rolling Stones' first Polish concert was in 1967, when riot police fired tear gas at thousands of fans who attempted to storm the venue.

The band's European tour begins on June 5 in Belgium, as previously reported.
