The Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger has denied claims that he’s "tight".

Ex-wife Jerry Hall - who had two children with the frontman - made the accusations.

Hall said Jagger was "pretty tight with the day to day stuff".

However, Jagger told The Times that he found her remarks "absurd".

He said: "I have always paid all the expenses for the children as well as the lion’s share of the costs relating to her lifestyle,” adding that he had been “more than happy to do so".

Jagger is due to start rehearsals for The Stones' summer tour shortly, reports BBC News.
