Rolling Stones demand a million to play Glastonbury?
Festival organisers say it's too much
Glastonbury booker Martin Elbourne told BBC6 that the legendary rockers asked for a million pounds to play the festival, which is simply too much, he said.
Under these conditions The Rolling Stones will not be performing at the event, which takes place June 22-24 in Somerset, as previously reported.
The Rolling Stones will, however, headline the Isle of Wight Festival on June 10 as part of their Bigger Bang tour, which kicks off on June 5 in Werchter, Belgium and hits more than 20 major cities in the UK and Europe, as previously announced.
