The Rolling Stones kicked off their European tour in Belgium last night (June 5).

Anticipation for the gig caused a traffic jam, which extended 30 miles (50 km) out into the town of Wercheter.

The gig was seen by 33,000 fans, reports BBC News.

The Bigger Bang tour is set to call at Serbia, Russia, France, Spain, Portugal, The Netherlands, Ireland, Germany, Scandinavia, Poland, The Czech Republic, Hungary and three dates at London’s O2 Arena.

This weekend, The Rolling Stones are set to headline the Isle Of Wight Festival, their first UK festival appearance since The Knebworth Fair in 1976, and NME.COM will be there.
