Martin Scorsese's cinematic documentary to hit UK screens

Martin Scorsese is set to release his cinematic film about The Rolling Stones on April 4.

'Shine A Light' was shot over two nights in 2006 at New York's Beacon Theatre.

The film will also feature backstage footage as well as rare archive footage and interviews of the band.

An array of musicians make guest appearances, including The White Stripes' frontman Jack White.

'Shine A Light' follows on Scorsese's recent success celebrating Bob Dylan's legendary career in 'No Direction Home' in 2005.
