The Rolling Stones have announced that they will be releasing a brand new Greatest Hits compilation in November, which will feature two new tracks.

The compilation will be titled 'GRRR!' and is being released to coincide with the band's 50th anniversary. It will be released on November 12 in the UK and November 13 in the US.

The compilation will be made available in five different formats, including a three-CD 50 track version and a four-CD super-deluxe version, which includes a whopping 80 tracks.

'GRRR!' will feature two brand new songs, 'Gloom And Doom' and 'One Last Shot', which were recorded in Paris last month. This is the first new material the band have recorded since their 2005 album 'A Bigger Bang'.

As well as a three-CD 50 track version and a four-CD super-deluxe version, the compilation will also come in a 12" vinyl boxset. Each of the CD versions will also come with a 3D album cover, which has painted by award-winning American artist Walton Ford.

There is still no word on whether the band will be playing any live dates to celebrate their 50th anniversary. Last week, US sources reported that the band have been booked to play four shows later this year, including two nights at London's O2 Arena, but this remains unconfirmed.
