Footage of The Rolling Stones covering The Beatles has been revealed in a newly restored tour documentary.

The scenes, shot in the 1960s, are part of new film, Charlie Is My Darling, which documents The Stones' trip across Ireland in the 1960s. The clip, which you can see by scrolling down the page, sees Mick Jagger and Keith Richards playing both 'Eight Days A Week' and 'I've Just Seen A Face' with drummer Charlie Watts spotted in the background.

Charlie Is My Darling was shot by filmmaker Peter Whitehead in 1965 and has been restored by ABKO Films for release on DVD in November. It features the first professionally filmed concert performances from the band as well as scenes depicting the crazed reaction the band received from fans when they went on tour.

The Rolling Stones caused scenes of pandemonium once again earlier today when fans rushed to snap up tickets for their forthcoming arena dates in London next month. Many were left frustrated, however, with all 30,000 of the tickets being sold in just 30 minutes. Tickets to see The Rolling Stones in London are already listed on eBay with prices currently reaching £5,800 for two tickets. Many other pairs of tickets are being sold for thousands each.

Guitarist Keith Richards admitted this week that he hates charging "over the top prices" for tickets, but expects to pocket around £16m from the shows.
