Mary J. Blige and Gary Clark Jr have been confirmed as special guests for The Rolling Stones first New York show, which takes place on Saturday.

Fresh from two performances in London, the band will perform live at New York's Barclay's Centre on December 8 with Mary J Blige reprising her guest spot during 'Gimme Shelter' in the US. A post on the band's official website reads: "The Rolling Stones have announced that Mary J Blige and Gary Clark Jr will be joining the band onstage for their first US 50 And Counting concert at The Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY on Saturday, December 8."

The Rolling Stones, who were joined by Florence Welch and Eric Clapton during their second London show last week (November 29), will also perform two shows in the US on Dec 13 and 15 performances at Newark’s Prudential Center.
