The Rolling Stones release Hyde Park live album on iTunes
Set highlights from the July 6 and 13 dates appear on the 19-track recording
Highlights of both sell-out dates (July 6 and 13) appear on the 19-track album, which followed their debut headline slot at Glastonbury last month. The band last played the central London space on July 5, 1969, at a huge, free concert shortly after the death of their bandmate Brian Jones. Jagger famously wore white and read from Shelley’s poem Adonaïs, and hundreds of white butterflies were released in Jones' memory. This year's dates saw them supported by the likes of The Vaccines. Palma Violets, Tribes and The Family Rein.
