The Rumble Strips soundtrack new Simon Pegg film
'Girls And Boys In Love' will be all over new flick
The Rumble Strips' new single 'Girls And Boys In Love' has been chosen as the 'official song' of the forthcoming Simon Pegg film 'Run Fat Boy Run'.
The film, directed by former 'Friends' star David Schwimmer, will feature the track on its trailer, and is scheduled for release in early September.
'Girls And Boys In Love' will be released as a single on August 27.
Meanwhile, the band have announced details of a new competition they are running for fans over the festival season.
The band will be bringing the large bass drum featured on their album and single artwork to some of their forthcoming festival appearances this year, and are challenging fans to photograph the instrument when they spot it on site.
Fans can submit their pictures to the band’s official site therumblestrips.com, after which a winner will be selected to win £1,000.
