They’ll rock the house in January
The Shins have just announced plans to perform tracks from their forthcoming album ‘Wincing the Night Away’ live on two late-night American variety shows.
The band will play on ‘Saturday Night Live’ on January 13, and ‘Late Show With David Letterman’ on January 23.
Each week, ‘Saturday Night Live’ features a performance from a notable musical guest and a rotating celebrity host. Actor Jake Gyllenhaal will share the bill with The Shins.
The band will embark on an extensive US tour in February and March in support of their new album, which will see a late-January release. Tour dates are scheduled to be announced shortly.
They also play a ShockWaves NME Awards Show on February 25 at London Astoria.
