The Shins announce dates of US tour
They also release their new album
The Shins have announced the dates of the first leg of their US tour.
The band will support their forthcoming album, ‘Wincing the Night Away’, due out in the US on January 23 on Sub Pop.
As previously announced, the band have booked television appearances on ‘Saturday Night Live’ on January 13, and ‘Late Show With David Letterman’ on January 23, where they’ll perform tracks from the new album.
The tour dates are:
Minneapolis First Avenue (February 8)
Milwaukee Eagles Ballroom (9)
Chicago Congress Theater (10)
St. Louis Pagent (11)
Lawrence Kansas Liberty Hall (12-13)
Denver Fillmore Auditorium (15)
Salt Lake City Utah In the Venue (16)
Seattle Paramount Theatre (20)
Portland Crystal Ballroom (21)
The Shins plan to add a second leg of the tour this summer.
The band also play a sold-out [B]ShockWaves NME Awards show at London Astoria on February 25.
