They’ll play MTVu’s Campus Invasion Music Festival

The Shins and The Rapture for Austin campus show

The Shins have been confirmed to headline the Austin leg of MTVu’s Campus Invasion Music Festival this month.

The band will headline the main stage at the event, which will also see performances by The Rapture and Shiny Toy Guns.

The festival will also take place Philadelphia and Atlanta. The former features a headlining slot from the rapper Fabolous, while the latter will see performances by Dashboard Confessional and Gym Class Heroes.

The dates are:

Austin, TX The Backyard (April 22)
Atlanta, GA Hi Fi Buys Amphitheatre (27)
Philadelphia, PA Penn’s Landing (April 29)
