The Skids to play hometown shows

Reformed Scottish punks The Skids are to play two hometown shows ahead of their appearance at this year’s T In The Park festival.

The band, celebrating their 30th anniversary, will play the Glen Pavilion in Dunfermline on July 4 and 5.

Initially only one show was announced, but the group had to add a second night due to demand.

The band then head to T In the Park to play the Main Stage on July 8.

Guitarist Stuart Adamson, who died in 2001, will be replaced by his former bandmate in Big Country, Bruce Watson.
