Controversy over leaked Smashing Pumpkins tracks

Fans question whether it's really Billy Corgan's band

The legitimacy of four new leaked have been put into doubt.

The songs, which appeared on various file-sharing websites, are allegedly taken from the band’s comeback album.

The tracks ’Collapsing Cities’, ’The Restless World’, Siam Mais’ and ’In The Eyes Beholding’ have been circulating under the titled ’The Baker Demos’.

However, MTV reports that fans are doubting the legitimacy of the tracks as the vocals allegedly sound nothing like frontman Billy Corgan.

The band are working with Queen producer Roy Thomas Baker. Aside from drummer Jimmy Chamberlin and leader Billy Corgan it is unclear which other former members of the group will be rejoining the band.
