Smashing Pumpkins announce reunion shows
They'll headline German festivals
have announced their first reunion shows.
The Chicago-based rockers will headline the Rock am Ring, and Rock im Park festivals in Germany.
The festivals will take place June 2 at Nürburgring and June 3 at Zeppelinfeld.
The current band lineup includes frontman Billy Corgan and drummer Jimmy Chamberlin. It remains to be seen whether other original members will return for the shows.
These will be the ' first live performances since they disbanded in 2000.
Also on the bill for the German festivals are Muse, Arctic Monkeys, Kaiser Chiefs, My Chemical Romance and The Kooks.
