The Smashing Pumpkins add new London date

Billy Corgan and co to make UK comeback

The Smashing Pumpkins have announced they are to play a London date - the first UK show of their comeback tour.

Billy Corgan's band will play at Shepherd's Bush Empire on June 19.

This follows the band's live return in Paris last week.

The group played older songs along wtih new tracks from their upcoming album 'Zeitgeist'.

The LP, out on July 9, is their first release since 2000's 'MACHINA/The Machines Of God'.

The Smashing Pumpkins headline this year's Carling Weekend: Reading And Leeds Festivals over the weekend of August 24-26. They previously headlined the bash in 1995.
