Tinted Windows announce intimate live dates

Supergroup will celebrate album release with handful of club shows

Tinted Windows, the group featuring Taylor Hanson, James Iha, Adam Schlesinger and Bun E. Carlos, have announced a string of dates to support the release of their debut album.

They will play intimate club dates in New York, Los Angeles, Edmond and Chicago, and will support No Doubt at their first show in five years at Atlantic City's Borgata on May 2. They will also perform the following day at the Bamboozle Festival in New Jersey.

Taylor Hanson, previously of Hanson is on lead vocals, while former man Iha plays guitar. The group is completed with bassist Schlesinger of Fountains Of Wayne and drummer Carlos of Cheap Trick.

The band’s self-titled debut comes out April 21 on S-Curve Records.

New York, NY Mercury Lounge (April 20)
Edmond, OK Plunkett Park/University of Central Oklahoma (25)
Los Angeles, CA Troubadour (28)
Chicago, IL Double Door (30)
Atlantic City, NJ Borgata Events Center - w/No Doubt (May 2)

'...former man Iha'? I'm sure he'll be delighted with that billing.

While James Iha was a credited guitarist on the first five Smashing Pumpkins albums, frontman Billy Corgan would later discount his contributions to recordings, saying in 2007 that Corgan and Jimmy Chamberlin accounted for "97%" of the performances on every Pumpkins album.
