The Smiths reveal their new film to fans

The Smiths are to star in their own documentary film 'Inside The Smiths', and the legendary rhythm section behind the band will be hosting an exclusive screening for the DVD.

Andy Rourke and Mick Joyce will front a very special screening at Fopp on Tottenham Court Road on July 18, marking the only London screening for the film.

From 6pm, the store will host a Q&A and the pair will be signing DVDs.

Meanwhile, Fopp in Bath will be hosting a screening of the film on the same day.

Entry can only be obtained with a Fopp wristband, available from the store on the day from 9am.

The documentary will be released on July 16, re-telling the story of Joyce's time in the band.

It marks the first Smiths documentary to be released on DVD and is produced and directed by Manchester-based friend of the band, Stephen Petricco.

'Inside The Smiths' is peppered with exclusive
interviews and footage, alongside in-depth interviews with the former Smiths friends and fans including New Order's Peter Hook, The Fall's Mark E Smith and Buzzcocks frontman Pete Shelley.
