The Spice Girls' Emma Bunton sprains ankle in Las Vegas
Star makes announcement about how her injury will affect UK gigs
The Spice Girls’ Emma Bunton is on crutches after spraining her ankle in Las Vegas on Tuesday (December 11).
The accident happened in the Mandalay Bay Hotel, where the band were performing.
Bunton has explained, via a statement, that her injury will not prevent her from performing at London’s O2 Arena on Saturday (December 15) – the first date of the band’s forthcoming UK tour.
"Unfortunately I have sprained my ankle so I am hobbling around on crutches,” Bunton said. "I am sure to make a speedy recovery."
