Mel B sprains her ankle on a drunken night out
Spice Girls member Mel B has taken a leaf out of Emma Bunton’s books and sprained her ankle, just weeks after bandmate Baby Spice fell off stage during a gig in Las Vegas.
Mel B hurt her foot in a drunken tumble whilst celebrating New Years Eve with the rest of the Spice Girls at a party in London hotel Claridges, according to a report in The Daily Mirror's 3AM column.
Spilling the beans at the band’s London show on Wednesday night (January 2), Geri Halliwell revealed to the crowd, "Mel B got so drunk she fell down a flight of stairs and twisted her ankle, so she won’t be busting the moves tonight."
Emma Bunton is still in a splint after her own onstage dramatics landed her on crutches.
