The Spice Girls: 'We didn't cancel gigs because we fell out'

Band claim family commitments are the cause of the show culling

The Spice Girls: 'We didn't cancel gigs because we fell out'
The Spice Girls have released a video message via their official website, claiming that their recent gig cancellations were not due to band members fighting amongst each other.

As previously reported on NME.COM, The Spice Girls cut short their current world tour, promting speculation in the media that the girls had culled the dates because they had fallen out.

In the video Mel C calls the speculation “rubbish”. Victoria Beckham says: “We have children, our kids need to go back to school. Our families are our priorities.”

The Spice Girls' forthcoming gig in Toronto on February 26 is set to be their last.
