Spice Girls' driver helps capture a thief
He blows the whistle on a suspected car jacker
The Spice Girls' tour bus driver helped capture a carjacking suspect in Michigan on Saturday (February 16).
The driver reportedly called police to report a possible drunk driver who was weaving through traffic on Interstate 75 in Detroit.
Police soon tracked down the motorist and arrested him in connection with a car jacking that had occurred at a gas station in nearby Burton.
The Spice Girls were scheduled to play a show that night at The Palace of Auburn Hills near Detroit.
The unidentified motorist is being held in the Genesee County Jail awaiting arraignment, reports the Associated Press.
